Beginning a New Routine
#KennedysDisease #SBMA #Success #ExtremeSpasticity, #AcceptanceWithoutSurrender
Yesterday was a very big day. I spoke as lector at service. I left the pew with my can and my Kindle Fire, walked to the lecturn and spoke.
I had a few troubles with my legs hurting while I was there, but I was able to move them a bit and finish! I returned to my seat, with my cane and my tablet.
Prior to service, I drank a BCAA as a preventative. After service, cramps started and I had another BCAA. The cramps stopped. Later that afternoon, I dropped to my wheelchair as my legs stopped working. The cessation was the beginning of an event. My muscles tightened. It seemed in record time. I drank a BCAA, no cramps. However, the muscles tightened enough to pull several. I feel like dog meat this morning. But, I did something out of service for others yesterday.
All of the pain I am feeling now is minor compared to the joy I felt yesterday.
Today and tomorrow are recovery days, as per my 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of event:recovery days. Thus begins my new routine. We’ll see if it works.
In Christ!
